it is using special moisture detect handle with machine together. To judge if scalp dermis lack of moisture of not.

Scalp sebum

Usually over oily scalp will cause hair lose and dandruff as well. lack of oily keep moisture loosing can not remain balance. Detecting scalp oily under polarized light. The yellow fluorescence mark oily sebum area.

Blocked hair follicles

Hair follicle blockage making new hair can not growth. Skin pores can not breath, long time block cause seborrheic alopecia

Dandruff

Once scalp lose balance, over oily or lack of moisture, even lack of Vitamin all cause dandruff. It is scalp health feedback. Scalp has microbial community. Such as Malassezia, once Malassezia overgrows, it broaks down sebum to produce oleic acid to produce dandruff, the drandruff could be seen over UV light.

This algorithm recognize thinkness of hair. Blue means velvet hair, red color is thin hair, yellow middle size hair, green is thick hair.
